We clean our chimney at the beginning of the season (September), and again in the middle (January - February). What I can&#039;t seem to find however, is something useful to do with all that soot and creosote that we have sitting in bags when we&#039;re done. There&#039;s got to be SOMETHING it&#039;s good for.]]></description>
